Marie Fredriksson seriously head injured
Hospitalised after accident
Singer Marie Fredriksson, 44, was seriously injured when she fell at home on Wednesday.
The Roxette star is now being treated at Karolinska Hospital for the head injuries she sustained in the fall.
The singer’s manager, Marie Dimberg, tells Aftonbladet:
She has suffered a severe concussion and is not feeling well.
On Wednesday, Marie Fredriksson was injured in a fall at her home in Danderyd outside Stockholm. She was taken to Karolinska Hospital where doctors found that the singer had suffered a serious concussion. Late last night she was hospitalised in the neurology department of Karolinska Hospital.
Her husband Mikael Bolyos, 45, has always been by her side. He was also the one who had to deliver the dramatic news to Marie Fredriksson’s manager.
Today, the manager tells Aftonbladet:
We don’t know how long she has to stay, she has to rest.
But the news is good for the popular singer. Ms Dimberg says that she is already feeling much better:
